Bless the Name of the Lord for prayers answered; thank Him because He has gone ahead of us to ensure the success of the Conference. Sing a new song unto the LORD. Praise The LORD!
Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song to the LORD: “I will sing to the Lord, for he is highly exalted. The horse and its rider he has hurled into the sea. The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him. The LORD is a warrior; the LORD is his name. Pharaoh’s chariots and his army he has hurled into the sea. The best of Pharaoh’s officers are drowned in the Red Sea. The deep waters have covered them; they sank to the depths like a stone. Who among the gods is like you, O LORD? Who is like you– majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders?
– Exodus 15:1-5, 11
Praise the LORD, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits– who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.
– Psalm 103:1- 3
The confidence we have in God is that when we ask anything in the name of Jesus and in accordance with his will, he answers us. Our faith is founded on his word that everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. These we have spent the last 21 days doing. We know we have the answers because he keeps his word.
What is our response to his faithfulness? We will not be like the nine lepers who didn’t think it wise to return to give thanks. Let us join the Saints gone before in singing our gratitude to Him who is our strength and song and has become our salvation. Praise him because he is your God; exalt him because he is a warrior and has fought our battles and given us victory; he has gone ahead to ensure the success of the conference. Like the Psalmist, let the depths of you, your soul and your inmost being, praise his holy name and forget not all his benefits. List them and give him thanks. Hosanna in the highest!
This is the Last day of the 21 Days Prayer and Fasting
Attend the 2020 World Agents of Change Conference or subscribe today and watch event live from Friday 17th on our YouTube channel.
Pray that everything will work out in our favour pertaining to this 11th edition of the Conference. Declare that the Hand of the Lord will be heavy and evident throughout this Conference season and upon the life of every participant.
You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favour to her; the appointed time has come. For her stones are dear to your servants; her very dust moves them to pity.
– Psalm 102:13- 14
When Mordecai learnt of Haman’s evil plan to kill the Jews, he mobilized Esther and others to pray. One day, Queen Esther approached the king uninvited, which was against the law and could carry the death sentence. As soon as the king saw her in the entrance to the king’s hall, he invited her into his presence and held out toward her the royal scepter as a sign that she was welcomed and accepted. Favour! That is a beautiful picture of the way we as sinners are accepted into the presence of God.
Our God is favourably disposed to us. The Psalmist was assured of this when he said the Lord will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favour to her. The favour of God toward Zion was manifested even in the ruins of the temple.
Desolate though it was, its stones were dear to the servants of the Lord; her very dust moved them to pity. Those who truly love the church of God love it when it is in affliction as well as when it is in prosperity. God favours Zion by putting it in the hearts for his people to favour her. In Christ, we are highly favoured.
Let us pray that for this conference too, the Lord will cause everything to work in our favour, that even the ‘dust’ of the conference will draw goodwill from everyone.
Pray for journey mercies for all participants from every part of the world. Pray for peace and security in every location participants will be travelling from. Pray against every satanic plan to hinder the Conference in any way.
The LORD will keep you from all harm –he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
– Psalm 121:7- 8
One of the great pleasures of the Christian life is the guarantee of our safety by no less a personality than the LORD himself, who made heaven and earth. Psalm 121 is an assurance of that: The Lord is thy keeper. The Psalmist talked about lifting up his eyes to the hills and acknowledging that his helps comes from the LORD; he will not let your foot slip. While human security details do sleep, he who watches over you from heaven does not. The Psalmist says he will neither slumber nor sleep. He is so detailed about your security such that even against the malignant influences of the heavenly bodies he promises to protect you from: The sun shall not smite thee by day nor the moon by night.
The LORD himself, not another, will keep you from ALL harm, he will watch over your life. Hallelujah! Your going out and coming in are his to watch over not just for a season but both now and forevermore. Since we have such great and precious promises, let us pray and affirm that as participants travel to the 2020 conference from different parts of the world, the eternal God will be our refuge and underneath us will be the everlasting arms. Pray that he will drive out the enemy before us.
Pray for all Resource Persons, Coordinators, Leaders and Workers during the 2020 World Agents of Change Conference. Ask the Lord to make them His Oracles and Mouth piece and that they all may work in unity and be useful in achieving God’s agenda for the Conference.
The Sovereign LORD has taught me what to say, so that I can strengthen the weary. Every morning he makes me eager to hear what he is going to teach me. The LORD has given me understanding, and I have not rebelled or turned away from him. – Isaiah 50:4 – 5 (GNT)
A Prophet is a spokesman for God; he speaks in God’s name and by his authority. He is the mouth by which God speaks to men. In Biblical times, Prophets were the immediate organs of God for the communication of his mind and will to men. For anyone to speak for God therefore, he must first hear from God. Isaiah said the sovereign LORD taught him what to say, so that the weary could be strengthened. Every morning, God made him eager to hear what was being taught. Let us pray for every minister at the 2020 conference, that they would be taught of God; that they would have God-given eagerness to hear his word and that they would know how to speak a word in season. Pray that such words would be fit for purpose and strengthen the weary. The Prophet Isaiah also spoke about receiving understanding from God and not rebelling. Our prayer should be that God’s ministers at the 2020 conference would also understand what God is saying at the moment and be obedient to him. Pray that they would indeed speak like the Oracles of God.
Pray that the Holy Spirit will bring a high level of orderliness during the 2020 World Agents of Change Conference and take authority over every spirit of distraction and pray against every manifestation of the works of the flesh – theft, immoral conduct, loitering, etc. in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
For God is not a God of disorder but of peace… But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way.
– 1 Cor. 14:33, 40
Chapter 14 of 1st Corinthians is in essence, a set of instructions on orderly worship. The way much of our public worship is conducted today would draw the same rebuke from the Apostle Paul. There are many disorderly things that we do and explain away as being the work of the ‘spirit’. Scripture is however abundantly clear: “God is not a God of disorder but of peace.”
When Noah was to construct an ark to save himself and his family, he was given by God, specific designs and dimensions of what to build. God could have caused any large wooden structure to float on the waters but no, he gave detailed instructions for the building of the ark. Order!
When Moses was instituting the regulations for worship in the Old Testament, he was repeatedly told by God to “See that you make them according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.” Order! If the dispensation of shadows was orderly, how much more so should be the dispensation of the real thing? That we are in an era of grace is no excuse.
As we gather in this conference, let us take authority over every disorderly and distracting spirit. Pray that the power of the cross of Christ will subdue every work of the flesh in our midst.
Pray that God’s emphasis during this Conference will be very clear and explicit to every participant, and will be reflected in every segment of the Conference. Ask for harmony and unity of purpose in every area during the Conference.
When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you truly love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.” Again Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you truly love me?” He answered, Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Take care of my sheep.” The third time he said to him, “Simon, son of John do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.”
– John 21:15-17
Picture this: you have a lingering misunderstanding with someone that is yet to be resolved. Two of you suddenly find yourselves on the same dinner table sitting across each other. What will the atmosphere in that room be like? Peter, despite promising not to, had denied Jesus three times. Following his resurrection, Jesus had appeared to his disciples at least on three previous occasions. Nothing was said of Peter’s betrayal. Imagine the tension Peter was feeling. The Lord doesn’t allow Peter’s previous mistake to spoil the dinner. When they are done feasting, he puts Peter out of his misery. He doesn’t even mention the offence but asks Peter about his love: “Do you love me more than these?” The question was asked thrice.
Repetition is for emphasis. You and I may have focused on the quarrel. Not the Lord. When the love was affirmed, he gave him a commission to feed his lambs and sheep, essentially the young and the old. Whereas Peter might have been expecting rebuke for his disloyalty, Jesus’ emphasis was on restoration and commission.
Let us pray that as we gather for the 2020 conference, God’s emphasis will be explicitly clear to every participant; that our hearts will not be set on one thing and the Lord’s on another.
As we gather for the 2020 World Agents of Change Conference, pray that God in His mercies will uproot anything in the life of any participant that will hinder them from being partakers of that which God is set to do at the conference – Matthew 15:13
A final solution
Jesus replied, “Every plant not planted by my father shall be rooted up.”
Job said of a tree that, “if it is cut down, it sprouts again and grows tender, new branches. Though its roots have grown old in the earth, and its stump decays, it may sprout and bud again at the touch of water, like a new seedling.” Job 14:7
Therefore, knowing the resilience of a plant whose roots have not been destroyed, when the Lord spoke of what the Father will do to those things that have been planted but not by him, He said, “my Father shall root them up.”
One almost likes the image of holy violence that this conjures. If you have ever rooted out offensive weed from a garden patch, you may have not just pulled out the weed, but also shaken out the good soil that still clung to its roots and flung the weed in a pile where it will dry and be burnt. This is what the Lord can do to every planting of the enemy in our lives: pull it out, shake off any part of us that it seeks to hold on to and then discard it in a dump where it will be burnt.
This is our conviction as we countdown to the conference; everything that has been planted in order to hinder people from receiving the fullness of God’s portion at the conference shall be rooted up by God himself.
Let us forbid any form of interference from the kingdom of darkness as we prepare for this conference. We nullify every agenda of Satan and his agents towards this conference with the blood of Jesus – Isaiah 59:19
So [as the result of the Messiah’s intervention] they shall [reverently] fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him and put him to flight [for He will come like a rushing stream which the breath of the Lord drives].
In the ongoing conflict between the kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness, there is never one moment of ceasefire. The heat of conflict may shift from one front to the other, but the devil is constantly attacking the work of God. And so as we prepare for the 2020 conference, it will be unwise to assume that the devil will stand idly by when God’s children gather with the aim of advancing the kingdom.
Our confidence however lies in the fact that we know that the devil is a defeated foe and that the gates of hell shall never prevail against the church. Do not fear, brethren. The devil may come as a raging flood; of discouragement, controversies, concerns or even conflicts, but we soldier on, assured that the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.
Let us however not walk in ignorance regarding the devices of the enemy. As the Lord admonishes us, let us be sober and watchful, even as the time draws nearer. Even if he comes as a roaring lion, you must take your stand in the Lord and resist the devil: he will flee.
Take courage then in the word that says, whatsoever we shall prohibit on earth will be prohibited in heaven (Matt 16:19). Take courage and prohibit that Satan will succeed against us.
Oh Lord, as we gather in Abuja for this 11th edition of the annual conference, do mighty acts in the midst of your people that will cause men to fear you in Jesus Name.
Pray that this Conference will record strange acts of God like never before. Request specifically for the miracles of salvation, Holy Ghost baptism, deliverances, divine restoration, healings, divine interventions and such like – Acts 19:11-12
The unusual unusual
And God gave Paul the power to do unusual miracles, so that even when handkerchiefs or parts of his clothing were placed upon sick people, they were healed and any demons within them came out.
Miracles are by definition unusual events, and so when we read that Paul was given power to do unusual miracles, we have to understand this to mean that these were a different class of miracles.
For instance, we see God giving Elijah miraculous strength to outrun Ahab’s chariot (1 King 18:46), but we see an entirely different class of the display of God’s power when the Spirit carried Philip away, and he covered a journey of three days in an instant. (Acts 8:39-40)
As the days draw near to the great gathering of God’s people at the 2020 conference, will you look to God to do the unusual unusual in your life? It is one thing for a man to be given speed, it is another matter entirely for the sun to stand still (as it did for Joshua as he led Israel); for time to stop so that God’s purpose in a man’s life may be accomplished in its due season.
Before God does them in a man’s life, the unusual unusual is in the class of things that the bible says… “what no one ever say or heard, what no one ever thought could happen, is the very thing God prepared for those who love him.”
Father in your mercy and by your power, grant us an unprecedented release of anointed reformers and world changers from the 2020 World Agents of Change Conference. Lord, raise men and women who will turn their world upside down from this edition of the Conference – Hebrews 11:32-34, 39; Acts 17:6
And what shall I more say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephtha; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise
– Hebrews 11:32-34, 39
And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, these that have turned the world upside down are come hither also
– Acts 17:6
In every generation, God raises men who man the gates of nations and territories. These men all have one thing in common – ‘men of good report’. It was said of the heroes of faith that they all obtained a good report through faith. This indeed boosted their profiles and made them fit for the anointing to subdue kingdoms. Every now and then, Heaven seeks men who will lay down their temporal lives for the eternal, take on the adversary and turn their world upside down. These men referred to in the Scriptures above were strange men who would not take ‘NO’ for an answer until they see God’s kingdom come and His will established in every sphere of men.
God so much succeeded on these men that everywhere they showed up, there was a cry, ‘These which turn the world upside down have come here also’. Turn the world upside down? Yes, upside down because the systems of this world are hostile towards God. We therefore, must be deliberate to leave no stone unturned in our quest to crush these ungodly systems and establishing a righteous order as we rise up from the 2020 World Agents of Change Conference.
May we be purged and emptied of every dross, so that the oil of grace can find free flow in and through us as we avail ourselves for the Master’s use in this forthcoming Conference in Jesus Mighty Name.
Pray that as we gather in Abuja for the 2020 World Agents of Change Conference, the Lord will equip each participant with all that we need to extend the bounds of His Dominion in Jesus Name.
Pray that your spiritual eyes may be open in this Conference to discover your Ministry gifts and Calling, and be adequately positioned for God’s end time move – Ephesians 4:11-13.
And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ
– Ephesians 4:11-13.
It is an error for a man to charge into battle without being equipped for it, that will be tantamount to becoming a casualty in the battle. Every given task requires adequate preparation to ensure a successful execution. Likewise, God has no use for any man He has not prepared, He only uses the men He Himself has prepared and equipped. Note that you must first be a saint (child of God) before being equipped for divine assignment. And the equipping is not for personal gain but for the work of the ministry and for the edifying of the body of Christ, and this we shall do till we all come to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
In this edition of the Conference, God will be providing several opportunities through the various sessions to enable you discover your gifts and calling; and to equip you for your divine assignment. You’re better off when you discover your place and function there because you have no reward for selfishly doing another man’s assignment.
May the Lord open your spiritual eyes to discover your place in His end time agenda as you get prepared to be adequately equipped to fulfill your ministry in Jesus Mighty Name.
Pray that the 2020 World Agents of Change Conference will be a mountain of diverse encounters with God for every participant. Pray that as you attend this edition of the conference, the Lord in His mercies will grant you a life changing encounter in Jesus Name. Exo 3:3-15
“…Then he said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.” At this, Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God”
I am the God of your father…. unless you have a personal encounter with God, He will remain the God of your fathers. He will remain the God you learnt about in Sunday School, the God of whom you’ve heard and read great stories but who unfortunately you’ve never met.
Moses was in a similar situation until he ran into this God of his fathers while leading the flock of Jethro his father in-law at the backside of the desert. That encounter with God changed everything for Moses, he moved from being a fugitive to becoming one of the greatest deliverers in the history of Man.
An encounter with God can indeed change everything, just as we see again in the life of Saul in Acts chapter 9 when he had an encounter with the Lord on his way to Damascus to persecute believers. Saul emerged from that encounter as a chosen vessel for the Lord.
As we follow the story of these two men, Moses and Saul through the scriptures, we realize that the effect of the encounters both men had with God never really left them all through their Journey. In Deuteronomy 33:16, we see Moses while blessing the tribes of Israel in his old age invoking the blessings of the God who dwelt in the burning bush upon the tribe of Joseph. And we also see Paul referring to his encounter with the Lord on the way to Damascus in the later stages of his ministry while making a defense before King Agrippa in Acts 26.
As we gather at this 2020 edition of the World Agents of Change Conference, it is our earnest prayer that God in His mercies will grant every participant a life transforming encounter that we would still be making reference to even in our old age.
Let us pray that God in His mercies and by His power will greatly advance His Kingdom through the 2020 World Agents of Change Conference. Pray that the impact of what God will do at this 2020 edition of the World Agents of Change Conference will reach the ends of the earth in Jesus mighty Name. Acts 1:8
But you shall receive power after the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth
– Acts 1:8
God’s purpose for sending the Holy Ghost is not just to have us speak in new tongues, which is a sign; but to get us filled with His power and to be His witnesses. Being His witnesses signifies testifying about His death, resurrection and the salvation He came to give. This can only be possible by the power of the Holy Ghost. We cannot be His witnesses until we have received His power.
On His part, God is always ready to release His Spirit if only we are ready to receive Him. What God intends to do at the forthcoming conference is to set up a sending structure for men who will be willing to take the Gospel to the nations of the earth. And this, He seeks to achieve by pouring out His Spirit in an immeasurable dimension upon us.
While some are seeking for houses, God’s desire is to give us nations. While we are seeking for things, His desire is to give us the souls of men. So, purge your heart, cleanse your hands and open up your spirit to receive of His Spirit.
May you be counted worthy to be recruited into His end time army at this 2020 conference in Jesus Name – Amen.
Pray that God will do a new thing in our midst at the 2020 World Agent of Change Conference. Ask that God in His mercies will grant us a great and mighty visitation at this edition of the conference, such as we have never experience before in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Pray that the Lord will grant you a life changing encounter at the conference – Isaiah 43:19, 1 Samuel 10:6
Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert
And the Spirit of the LORD will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man – 1 Samuel 10:6.
What is considered new today becomes outdated tomorrow. In order to keep pace, everyone seems to want the new things of life because in this technological age, new things evolve every day. No matter how comfortable we are with a thing, with time there is always a quest for something newer.
Similarly, whatever we have seen God do in the past is nothing compared to who He is, and what He is capable of doing today. There is more in Him than we have seen. God loves to outperform Himself in every era of man, and He does this by doing new things. But as it is written, eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither has entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for them that love Him – 1Cor. 2:9.
God sees the way where we cannot, and He wants to unveil a part of Him we have never seen in the 2020 World Agents of Change Conference. He wants to leave an impression of newness and freshness in us so that all who see us will acknowledge that we are the seed which the LORD has blessed (Isaiah 61:9).
As you prepare for the forthcoming Conference, may you make room for a fresh encounter with God and be clothed with the garment of newness in all areas of your life in Jesus Name.
Pray for every session during the 2020 World Agents of Change Conference – The Christian Teachers Summit, the Worship Sessions, Bible Study, Messages, Special Sessions and Night of Change Prayer vigil etc.
Declare that great grace will be released in every session of the 2020 WAOCC Conference. Acts 4:33
And with great power gave the Apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all
– Acts 4:33
The early Church was known for the manifestation of God’s great power because great grace was released upon them. They had such divine enablement which made them do the unthinkable. In releasing grace, God must find the hearts of a people ready to run with the mandate of His Kingdom.
‘…Great grace was upon them all’ implies that every participant at the 2020 World Agents of Change Conference can receive such grace that will enable us run the race for the rest of our lives. God specializes in doing great things because He is a great God. There are special levels of great grace(s) apportioned for every session of the forthcoming Conference. So, strip yourself of anything that can hinder you and open up your spirit to receive grace for the race; because the fulfillment of your divine assignment will be impossible without His grace.
May you not be distracted nor underestimate any session of this Conference – Prayer, Bible study, Worship, Vision Challenge, Messages, Night of Change and other specialized sessions. May every segment find you humble and fully ready to receive great grace to advance the Kingdom in Jesus Mighty Name.
Pray for mighty encounters with God for every attendee at the 2020 World Agents of Change Conference, and that many will be turned to Christ at the conference.
Pray that the Holy Ghost, like a mighty rushing wind will rest on every participant in Jesus mighty Name.
When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. –Acts 2:1-3 “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days.” –Joel 2:28-29 On the day of Pentecost the disciples were all together in one place. When the Holy Spirit came in fulfillment of Christ’s promise, the tongues like fire “separated and came to rest on each of them.” Each and every one present had an encounter. No one was left out. There is enough in heaven to go round. John says of Jesus, that “of His fullness we have ALL received, and grace for grace.” Pray that in the 2020 Conference, every attendee will encounter God. Jesus gave His disciples what we term the Great Commission, but He asked them to tarry for the promise of the Father, the Holy Spirit. What had long been promised in Joel 2 and later by Christ Himself was fulfilled in Acts 2. Our God is a promise-keeper. When the Spirit came on that fateful day, every participant in that worship service was filled. We therefore have precedence upon which to pray and believe, that like a mighty rushing wind, the Holy Ghost will rest on every participant at the 2020 Conference.
Pray that God will prepare everyone who will be in attendance at the 2020 World Agents of Change Conference.
Pray that God will prepare every participant for a life-transforming encounter with Him at this edition of the conference.
Pray that God in His mercies will prepare every vessel that will minister in one way or the other at the conference.
Pray that God will make all His ministers at this unique edition of the conference a flame of fire in Jesus mighty Name.
“See, I will make you into a threshing sledge, new and sharp, with many teeth. You will thresh the mountains and crush them, and reduce the hills to chaff.” In speaking of the angels he says, “He makes his angels winds, his servants flames of fire.”
–Isaiah 41:15 , Hebrew 1:7
In Jesus’ parable of the Wedding Banquet, everyone was invited following the refusal of the initial invitees to show up. But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes. He was tied hand and foot and thrown out because he came unprepared. In the light of that, pray that God will prepare everyone who will be in attendance at the 2020 Conference. The right heart and attitude are important for participation in this feast.
Secondly, even though Jacob was a worm, God promised to transform him into a sharp threshing sledge with many teeth that would thresh the mountains and crush them, and reduce the hills to chaff. A worm transformed into an instrument to crush rocks? Could only be God! “He makes” is not a one-off event but something He does repeatedly. Ask God to make ALL His servants at this Conference to be flames of fire. Pray that He will transform the various ministers at the 2020 Conference into instruments fit for His purposes: let hardened hearts be broken, chaff burned up and the dross in every life consumed by His fire.
Pray that all participants will leave the Conference set on fire.
Pray that God by Himself will mobilize everyone that He has ordained to be part of the 2020 World Agents of Change Conference.
Pray that nothing will hinder anyone who desires to be at the conference. Ask that God in His infinite mercies will boost participation for this Conference like we have never seen before in Jesus mighty name.
People, in general, liked what they saw. Every day their number grew as God added those who were saved.
– Acts 2:47 (MSG)
One of God’s ways of calling people is to create a sight that attracts them. Moses saw a bush that was on fire but did not burn up. That caught his attention. When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush!
In the verse above, the newly formed Church was meeting daily in the Temple for worship. Then, by an act of God, “People in general liked what they saw”. As we pray for God to mobilize participants to the 2020 Conference, we need Him to cause people to like what they see. It may just be a mobilization flyer that catches their attention or something else. Ask God to cause people in general to like what they see about the AOC network and the conference.
The Lord followed that up by adding to their number daily those who were being saved. Note that the addition was an act of God Himself. In praying for a boost in the participation for the next conference, we can do so with confidence. That confidence is founded on the fact that our God has a proven track record of adding to the numbers of His Church on a daily basis. He can also add to the numbers at the next conference.
Thank God for all the previous editions of the Conference from 2010 to 2019, and for His faithfulness over the years
Thank God for faithfully giving us a Word for each year of the Conference. Thank Him for all participants who have attended previous editions of the Conference.
Thank God for all the souls saved and miracles experienced in all the Conferences.
Appreciate God for His faithfulness in your life and family over the years as well.
1 Sam 3:1 In those days, when the boy Samuel was serving the Lord under the direction of Eli, there were very few messages from the Lord, and visions from Him were quite rare.
God’s word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path, and so when God refuses to send his word, the paths that men take grows dark, and their lives suddenly become filled with uncertainty.
Eli and his children displeased God by their conduct, such that Eli who used to be the priest over God’s house suddenly could no longer hear God’s word again. The danger for us in this age is that, because we have the written word, which we can read any time we choose, we may not quickly realize it if God grows silent.
As Agents of Change, we must therefore be doubly thankful that over the years we have continued to receive a constant witness in our heart and the word (beyond the letter) of God continues to be revealed to us.
We must also examine our individual hearts to learn if His word has grown scarce, and His visions and visitations have become rare. May we not find it to be so in Jesus name, and may we constantly recognize His voice when he calls and utter the response, “Speak Lord.”
Let us thank God for divine guidance that we have been enjoying since the beginning of this vision of the Agents of Change Network 12 years ago.
God has indeed been leading us with clarity and has never allowed us to stumble in the dark. To Him alone be all the Glory.
Also appreciate God for His leading in your life as an individual. – John 8:12.
Later, in one of his talks, Jesus said to the people, “I am the light of the world. So if you follow me, you wont be stumbling through the darkness, for living light will flood your path.” John 8:12
When there is a power cut and you need to get something from your room, you feel your way around towards what you are looking for. Yet, even though you may have lived in that room for years, it is often the case that you may still stumble, and fall as you try to make your way around the pitch-dark room.
Now think about what the experience will be if it was a room that you had never been into before, and you needed to find something you had never seen before that time. For many people, making their way through life is like trying to find their way around a room shrouded in pitch darkness; they literarily stumble blindly through life.
Our hearts ought therefore to be filled with gratitude that we have Jesus, and in him, we have the light of life. As we have followed his guidance over the past 12 years of this vision of the Agents of Change Network, His instructions have helped us not to merely stumble through.
Let us therefore give thanks for the light that Jesus shines into every darkness; providing the clarity we need to walk sure-footedly into the future.
